The sacred occasion of Guru Purnima was celebrated with immense devotion and spiritual fervour at Shree Nithyananda Yogashrama, Kondevoor on Thursday, 10th July 2025, marking the commencement of the 22nd Chaturmasya Vrata of Paramapoojya Sri Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji. The Chaturmasya observance will span from 10-07-2025 to 07-09-2025.
The auspicious day was filled with divine vibrations as devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in a series of religious and cultural programmes organized under the spiritual guidance of Swamiji and the blessings of Kshetra Maata Gayatri and Bhagawan Shri Nithyananda Swamiji.
7:30 AM – The morning began with the initiation of the 22nd Chaturmasya Vratacharane by Paramapoojya Sri Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji, marking the formal commencement of the sacred four-month-long spiritual observance.
9:00 AM – A spiritually uplifting Ganapati Homa was performed, followed by the Panchamruta Abhishekam to Shri Nithyananda Guruji, invoking blessings for auspicious beginnings and collective well-being.
10:30 AM – The deeply revered Vyasa Pooja was commenced, honouring the eternal lineage of Gurus and the timeless wisdom of Maharshi Vedavyasa.
10:45 AM – The pooja culminated with Mangalarati and soulful Bhajans, enhancing the devotional atmosphere.
12:30 PM – A grand Mahapooja was followed by Annaprasadam, served with love to all devotees and guests, as a symbol of divine grace and unity.
5:00 PM – The evening began with melodious Bhajans by the Gayathri Maatra Mandali, creating a spiritually vibrant ambiance.
6:30 PM – Another session of Mahapooja was conducted with full sanctity and ritualistic splendour.
7:30 PM – The day’s events concluded with the deeply sacred Guru Paduka Pooja, devoutly performed by the Trust Members, dedicated Ashrama Sevaks, and devoted disciples, who offered their heartfelt prayers, gratitude, and reverence at the holy feet of the Guru. This was followed by a soul-stirring Ashirvachana (blessing discourse) by Guruji, culminating in the auspicious Anugraha Mantrakshatam, bestowing divine blessings upon all present.
The entire day witnessed profound spiritual vibrations, with devotees deeply immersed in devotion and gratitude towards the Guru Parampara. The success of the programme was made possible through the divine blessings of Kshetra Maata Gayatri, Bhagawan Shri Nithyananda Swamiji, and the tireless guidance of Paramapoojya Sri Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji.
As the 22nd Chaturmasya begins, the Ashrama looks forward to a spiritually enriching period filled with satsangs, seva, and sadhana under the divine presence of Shri Guruji.
