Sri Nithyananda Yogashrama, Kondevoor Mutt, Uppala, Kasaragod witnessed a spiritually uplifting atmosphere on Sunday, 24th August 2025, as the grand Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Havana was held in the divine presence of Paramapoojya Sri Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji and under the guidance of Vedamurthi Sri Harinarayana Mayya Kumbale.
The day began with Ganapati Homa at 7:00 AM, invoking auspiciousness, followed by the commencement of the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Homa at 8:00 AM. At 10:00 AM, devotees in large numbers participated in the Samoohika Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana, chanting the thousand sacred names of Lord Vishnu in unison. The programme reached its spiritual culmination with the Poornahuti and Mahapooja at 10:45 AM, radiating divine vibrations throughout the Ashrama.
The Dharmika Sabha, held at 11:00 AM, was one of the highlights of the event. Paramapoojya Swamiji delivered an enlightening Āshirvachana, inspiring devotees towards a life of dharma and devotion. The Sabha was presided over by Sri K. Narayan, Honourable Member of Rajya Sabha, Bengaluru.
Several eminent personalities graced the occasion as Chief Guests, including Brahmashree T.S. Vinith Bhat, Sri Ramesh Raju, Sri Kishore Alva, Sri B.T. Ramachandrappa, Sri Rajesh Padinjatil, and Sri Ganesh Rai. On this sacred occasion, Sri Lakshmana from Bengaluru was specially honoured for his contributions.
The event concluded with Anna Prasadam at 1:00 PM, where thousands of devotees partook in the blessed meal.
