Shree Nithyananda Yogashrama has commenced its two-week-long 20th anniversary celebrations with a sacred Homa ritual. The ceremony was led by Trustee Sri Sasidhara Shetty Gramachavady and his esteemed wife, in the presence of Parama Poojya Sri Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji. The event was conducted under the guidance of Brahma Shri Kamaladevi Prasada Asranna, the hereditary chief priest of Kateelu Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple.
February 22nd: Commencement with Sacred Rituals
The grand spiritual observances began on February 22, 2025, with an auspicious Prārthane, Punyāha, and Ganayāga, followed by the significant Pañcaviṁśati Kalasādhivāsa to Sri Gayatri Maatha and Adhivāsa Hōma. The rituals continued with Navaka Kalasādhivāsa dedicated to Bhagwan Nithyananda Guru. The morning also witnessed the initiation of Chandika Yaga, an elaborate spiritual offering.
At noon, the Pūrnāhuti ceremony was performed, marking the culmination of the sacred fire rituals. This was followed by a Mahapooja, with the distribution of Prasadam and Annadanam, providing spiritual nourishment and community service to the devotees gathered.
Bhajana Sapthaha till March 1st
The anniversary celebrations include a week-long Bhajana Sapthaha. This tradition aims to invoke divine blessings and foster a spiritual atmosphere throughout the event. The Bhajana Sapthaha will conclude on March 1, 2025, with a special Mangalarati ritual.
March 2nd Grand Concluding Ceremony
On March 2nd, the festival will conclude with a Shree Lakshmi Narayana Hrudaya Homa at 7:30 AM, an auspicious ritual invoking prosperity and divine grace. The Purnahuti and Mahapooja will take place at 10:30 AM, followed by the official inauguration of ‘Vishwam’ Guest House at 11:00 AM, symbolizing the Yogashrama’s continued service to visiting devotees and seekers. Additionally, the official launch of the Yogashrama’s website will be conducted, marking a significant step in spreading its spiritual mission to a global audience.
The entire event has been marked by an overwhelming participation of devotees, saints, and spiritual seekers, making it a grand and memorable occasion for the Yogashrama.
